Small Animal Medicine
The small animal medicine referral service at the University of Melbourne is staffed by six referral clinicians. The department offers an Australian College of Veterinary Scientists approved residency program which currently trains two residents to specialist standard. Patients are seen on a referral appointment basis from veterinarians throughout the state of Victoria and beyond. A wide range of internal medicine cases are investigated and treated including areas such as oncology, cardiorespiratory medicine, neurology, gastroenterology and urology.
